MTI Hand Ported Cylinder Heads
MTI has spent hundreds of research and development hours in GM Gen-III and Gen-IV cylinder head port design. This allows us to bring
to you the finest, highest flowing cylinder heads available. Using our Superflow SF-600 flowbench with Flowcom, and data analysis software,
we are able to give you proven results on paper for your individual cylinder heads. This guarantees that your cylinder heads flow exactly
what we promised, and will reflect that on the dyno, the street, and at the track. MTI has engineered, designed and produced exclusive
custom titanium retainers, and spring cups that work with our dual valve springs. This lightweight combination offers you the best
high RPM valvetrain stability, and the highest reliability against any type of spring failure. No time or expense is spared in our
cylinder heads, as it takes a minimum of one full week for one of our cylinder head techs to produce one complete set. MTI maintains
the highest standards, and only the best parts are used in our completed heads. This assures us that our finished product cannot be
outperformed in any area. While other cylinder head porting companies may be new to the scene, you can count on years of MTI's
experience to bring you the best, most reliable performance cylinder heads possible.

Stage 2E Cylinder Heads
Complete hand porting of intake, and exhaust runners for excellent flow volume & air speed with major bowl work performed.
Ferrea 2.02" stainless one piece intake valves, and 1.56" exhaust valves are used in the factory valve seats. High performance
dual valve springs coupled with our custom lightweight titanium retainers and specially machined spring cups offer the most stable, and
reliable valvetrain. These heads can be milled .030" to increase the compression ratio by 1/2 of a point. This is an excellent
street cylinder head with flow numbers approaching 300 CFM on the intake runner and 210+ on the exhaust side. Each set of
cylinder heads will come with their own individual flow sheet. If you're looking for a great cylinder head at a great price, look no
further. Available for LS2, LS1, LS6, LQ9 and all 5.3L truck castings. See the flow sheet attached to this page for flow data.
Stage 2R Cylinder Heads
Intake and exhaust ports are fully maximized for flow volume, and port velocity. New hardened intake and exhaust seats are installed
along with bronze valve guides, and custom 8mm one piece stainless steel Ferrea valves measuring 2.055" on the intake, and
1.60" on the exhaust. High performance dual valve springs coupled with our custom lightweight titanium retainers and specially
machined spring cups offer the most stable, and reliable valvetrain. These heads can be milled .030" to increase the compression
ratio by 1/2 of a point. These cylinder heads power some of the quickest and fastest LS1s, LS2s & LS6s in the country. This is an
excellent cylinder head choice for those considering a larger displacement engine in the near future. Please call MTI to confirm

Stage 3 Cylinder Head Upgrades
The Stage 3 is an upgrade based on the Stage 2R heads. Stage 3 heads are intended for larger displacement engines with non-factory
cylinder bore diameters (over-bored or re-sleeved LS2s including the C5R block). The Stage 3 upgrade involves enlarging and polishing
the combustion chambers to match the required bore diameter, as well as having the option to replace the 2.055" intake valves with
larger 2.080" custom valves. This Stage 3 upgrade is only available at this price upon original order placement of MTI Stage
2R cylinder heads.

MTI Custom Grind Camshafts
MTI LS1/LS6 camshafts are developed at MTI and ground to our exact specification. They are designed for maximum power output and best
drivability. Our billet steel cams incorporate our fast ramp design and are generally worth 30-40 HP in most applications. The famous
C2, G1, & X1 cams can be successfully used with stock cylinder heads when accompanied with our valve train upgrade package. Vehicles
equipped with automatic transmission will require a higher idle speed through custom PCM programming (see
Computer section). MTI can also

MTI's new Stealth series cam is designed to have minimal lope at idle without sacrificing performance. It is on a wide lobe separation and has no
advance built into it which allows it to produce good low end power with an abundance of top end power rivaling much larger spec camshafts. Click

MTI 475 HP Heads and Cam Package
MTI's 475 horsepower engine package provides a substantial increase in horsepower and torque over the base engines power level.
The CTS-V engine is identical to the LS6 Corvette engine. With the MTI power package, drivability, reliability and fuel mileage are
unchanged from stock creating no sacrifices for the additional 70+ horsepower. This package is designed to run on premium
fuel (91+ octane) and requires no special maintenance procedures.

MTI Stage II LS6 Performance Aluminum Cylinder Heads
MTI's fully prepped Stage II LS6 cylinder heads come outfitted with custom built 8mm severe duty stainless 2.020" intake valves
and 1.560" exhaust valves, performance dual valve springs, and our unique design lightweight titanium retainers. The intake and
exhaust ports are thoroughly ported and polished for maximum air velocity and volume. Just like our engine blocks, every cylinder
head is completely machined and assembled in house. Every set of MTI cylinder heads is flowed on our own SuperFlow SF600 flow bench
to ensure they are up to our strict air flow requirements. MTI Stage II cylinder heads are sold on an exchange basis.
MTI Custom LS6 Performance Camshaft Profile
MTI's custom grind LS6 billet steel camshaft profile is designed for increased performance throughout the entire RPM range.
This profile has substantially higher valve lift and duration over the factory cam without a choppy idle associated with some aftermarket
cams. MTI has engineered these new "Stealth" camshafts to produce maximum power with the best drivability.
MTI Custom Exhaust X-Pipe Kit
Using Nascar technology, MTI has engineered an exhaust "X" crossover that replaces the very restrictive resonator that comes
equipped on the V cars. The new X pipe dramatically increases exhaust flow freeing up substantial horsepower yet still keeping
the car very quiet inside the cabin. -

Modified Air Intake System
MTI has spent hours on the Dynamometer extracting the maximum horsepower by eliminating all restrictions in the air intake path. A
free flowing air intake system is required for maximum gains from ported cylinder heads and larger camshafts.
Complete Gasket, Bolt and Accessory Kit
MTI uses genuine GM head gaskets and factory engine bolts on re-assembly. This kit also includes high tech hardened chromoly one piece
push rods built to our specs, NGK V-Power spark plugs, silicone spark plug wires and all necessary fluids.
LS6 Custom Computer Programming
The factory computer requires reprogramming with this package to allow for a higher engine RPM operating range, cooler engine
temperatures, retuned spark timing and air/fuel ratio changes and necessary idle speed adjustments. Eliminated is that annoying
one-to-four skip shift that forces you to shift from 1st gear to 4th gear at lower speeds.

Jesel Roller Rockers
Jesel's 1.7 shaft mounted rocker arms are some of the best money can buy. Longer rocker arms provide higher rocker ratios,
proper travel, arc geometry and enough rocker-to-valve spring clearance to run big race springs. CNC-machined aluminum rockers are extra
rigid to insure true rocker ratio. Shaft mounting reduces reciprocating mass for high rpm use, easier access to valve springs, lash caps,
retainers and locks, longer valve spring life and is a complete bolt-on assembly with rocker arms, shafts, stands and hardware. Note:
Clearancing of the factory valve covers is required with the use of these rocker arms.
